Berekum Chelsea forward Stephen Amankona has opened up on his incredible goal-scoring form in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The forward has scored 13 goals this campaign, which puts him at the top of the scorers chart.
Last season, Amankona bagged the most goals in the Ghana Premier League, 19, and is on cause to repeat the feat.
“As a striker your responsibility is to score goals and I always work hard to get the goals, Amankona said in the lead-up to Chelsea’s game against Hearts of Oak.
Amankona is aiming to become the first player since Hearts of Oak’s Ishmael Addo in the late 90’s to clinch the goal-king gong in back-to-back seasons.
