Former Ghana international Mohammed Polo says that Karim Zito is as good enough to be the head coach of Black Stars
Zito has led Dreams FC to the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup and stand a chance of securing a final spot.
The Still Believe lads play Zamalek in the second leg of the competition at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium after a goalless draw in Cairo.
“Our football is suffering. As for coaching, everyone is a coach; anyone at all can be a coach, but not all coaches can advance a team,” said Polo in an interview with Joy Sports.
“Today, Karim Zito can hit his chest that he’s been able to advance Dreams FC to the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup because others could not do that.
“Through that, his CV shows that he can be advanced to the highest level which is the Black Stars level so he can be progressed, but there are coaches who haven’t done anything and they are given the job to do.”
The Ghana Football Association has already named Otto Addo into the position for the next three years.
