Kudus bags assist in West Ham United’s stalemate with Liverpool

Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus provided an assist in West Ham United’s encounter against Liverpool in the English Premier League on Saturday.

The Hammers held the Reds to a 2-2 draw at the London Stadium in a week 35 encounter.

Kudus set up Jarrod Bowen for West Ham United’s opening goal against Liverpool in the 43rd minute before, five minutes later, Andrew Robertson scored to bring the game to level pegging.

The visitors continued to press, knocking at the door of their opponents, which led to Areola inadvertently putting the ball into the back of his own net in the 65th minute as Liverpool increased the tally.

Twelve minutes later, Antonio capitalized on an opportunity that came his way and put the ball in the back of the net, as West Ham United denied Liverpool the maximum points on the road.

Kudus has 7 goals and 5 assists to his credit in the league this season.

West Ham currently occupy the 8th position on the table with 49 points after playing 35 games.
