Hearts of Oak legend Mohammed Polo says it is almost impossible for the Phobians to mount a serious challenge for the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League title.
His admission comes following the club’s poor run of result in recent weeks.
The Accra-based giants have recorded back to back draws in their last two Ghana Premier League outings, the Phobians have also been eliminated from this season’s MTN FA Cup following a 1-0 defeat to Dreams FC in Round 32.
Speaking to Akoma FM in an interview, Mohammed Polo said;
“It will be difficult for Hearts to win the league though I believe the league is a marathon,” Mohammed Polo said.
The Ghana football legend added, “Now that they are out of the FA Cup, they should fight for the league. Ironically, those who were not patient with Samuel Boadu when Hearts was struggling, now that the Club is confronted with a similar situation, what will they say now?”
Hearts of oak will they travel to Tarkwa to face Medeama SC on Matchday 14.
