Mohammed Kudus wins big at 2022 SWAG awards

Mohammed Kudus was the big winner at 47th SWAG Awards gala which was held in Accra on Saturday night.

The Black Stars midfielder scooped the ultimate prize after he was named Sports Personality of the Year.

The Ajax star also bagged the Foreign-based Footballer of the Year award, winning the category ahead of Arsenal’s Thomas Partey and Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew.

The 22 year old joins Thomas Partey and Andre Ayew as two-time winners of the prestigious SWAG Footballer of the Year Award.

Kudus saw his stock rise tremendously during the period under review. He was Ghana’s standout player despite their early exit at the 2022 World Cup.

He scored two goals, provided an assist and bagged one man of the match award in three games.

The talented youngster also enjoyed a stellar campaign in the Netherlands with Ajax Amsterdam.
