Mohammed Kudus stalls Brighton move as he waits for Dortmund offer

Mohammed Kudus is delaying his proposed move to Brighton as he awaits a potential offer from German giants Borussia Dortmund.

Ajax and Brighton reached a verbal agreement over €40M transfer a fortnight ago but the deal is still missing the player’s signature.

Despite the agreement with the English Premier League outfit, the lure of Borussia Dortmund seems to have caught Kudus’ attention.

The Ghanaian international prefers a move to the Signal Iduna Park with Ajax growing increasingly inpatient as the saga drags on.

Dortmund are yet to make a formal approach for the 23 year old but the Ghanaian international and his camp believe it is only a matter of time.

Ajax, for their part, have given the player an ultimatum to sort out his future before the start of the 2023/2024 Eredivisie campaign this weekend.

Dortmund, a prominent club in the Bundesliga, has a history of nurturing young talents and providing a platform for them to flourish on the European stage.

Kudus might see the Black and Yellows as a stepping stone to further enhance his career, both domestically and in continental competitions.
