Mohammed Kudus maintained a positive outlook despite West Ham United’s defeat to Everton in the English Premier League on Sunday.
He expressed his disappointment but also his determination to learn from the experience and focus on the upcoming challenges.
“It’s very disappointing. We want to win every game, but this is done now, and we focus on the next game. We will learn from this and focus on the next game,” he said in his post match interview.
After featuring off the substitutes’ bench on six occasions and scoring a late equaliser against Newcastle United in the Hammers’ last home match three weeks ago, the Ghana attacking midfielder was finally named in the starting XI by manager David Moyes.
Despite his best efforts, he could not save his side from a 1-0 defeat at home.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the only goal as the Toffees came way with all three point at the London Stadium.
“I know my capabilities, and I know what I can do. I believe in myself, so I’m here, taking in as much information as I can, and I try to put it in my game to help the team” Kudus concluded.
