Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has rejected a lucrative offer from a Saudi Pro League club to join West Ham’s rivals Chelsea.
According to reports, the Saudi club was willing to pay £70 million, nearly three times Kudus’s current salary at West Ham.
However, the 24-year-old preferred to stay in Europe’s top leagues. Kudus wants to continue playing in high-profile competitions and has set his sights on a potential move to Chelsea.
Despite a relatively quiet season with five goals and three assists in 32 appearances, Kudus’s talent and potential have caught the attention of top clubs.
His decision to turn down the Saudi offer reflects his ambition to compete against the best teams and players in Europe.
A potential transfer to Chelsea could be on the cards this summer, offering Kudus new challenges and opportunities to shine in the Premier League.
