Ghanaian football sensation Mohammed Kudus expressed his gratitude to the esteemed board of EMYAfrica and the voters for bestowing upon him the double honor of “Discovery of the Year” and “Man of the Year in Sports.”
The 8th Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Africa Awards winners were announced on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
In a post on a X, Kudus conveyed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you for the double honor of Discovery of the Year & Man of the Year in Sports. Your belief in me fuels my journey & lights our path forward. I am deeply humbled.”
Kudus has enjoyed a stellar start to life at his new club, West Ham United. The 24 year old is currently the second highest scorer in all competitions for the Hammers this season (5) behind Jarrod Bowen (7), despite the Ghanaian only starting seven of their 16 games.
