Karela United forward, Emmanuel Owusu Boakye has bemoaned the club’s current poor form.
The attacker was in action for the team on Saturday afternoon for the game against Hearts of Oak on Week 9 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
In a game that ended 1-1, Emmanuel Owusu Boakye was the scorer of Karela United’s goal.
Speaking after the game, the forward admitted that things are tough for his team.
He said although the players and the coach are doing all they can, the results they want are just not coming.
“It’s not easy for us. We are doing everything in our capacity just like the coaches are also doing but it’s just not coming. Day in day out we check the league table. It’s not easy for us. We’re having sleepless nights,” Boakye told StarTimes at full-time,” Emmanuel Owusu Boakye said.
He assured fans that the team will work harder in hopes of winning the next game against Accra Lions.
