West Ham United attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus has issued a heartfelt apology to Ghanaians for the Black Stars’ underwhelming display in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The team’s campaign has been marred by four winless games and only two points secured.
The 2-0 defeat to Sudan on matchday four jeopardized qualification hopes of making it to the tournament next year in Morocco.
Ghana now needs to secure wins against already-qualified Angola and Niger, while hoping that Sudan falters against these same opponents, to keep their chances alive for next year’s tournament in Morocco.
