Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has revealed Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey has sustained an injury and not available for the next few matches.
The 30-year-old was absent from their Champions League squad that won against Sevilla on Tuesday and Arsenal’s English Premier League game against Chelsea over the weekend which ended 2-2.
“Thomas picked up an injury yesterday in training. Unfortunately, it’s a muscle injury. We don’t know the extent of it – a big miss for us,” Arteta said.
Partey’s season has been blighted by injuries, making just four appearances for the Gunners in the Premier League this season.
