Coach Otto Addo has handed Elfsborg midfielder Michael Baidoo a debut Black Stars call-up ahead of the pre-World Cup friendly against Switzerland in November.
Baidoo is included in the provisional squad following his scintillating performance for Elfsborg in the Swedish Allsvenskan League this season.
He scored 10 goals in 19 games so far for his side on the ongoing season.
The youngster’s fine form caught the attention of Black Stars coach Otto Addo who is contemplating the 30 percent of the squad having indicated that 70 percent of the previous call-up will go to Qatar.
Kickoffghana.com checks reveal that Baidoo and Salis are the only two new players who have been invited into the squad for assessment in the friendly game with Switzerland which is slated for November 17.
