The administrative manager of Medeama Sporting Club, Joseph Tetteh Zutah, said the club needs to find a capable replacement for Jonathan Sowah.
Sowah could be on his way out of the club soon after reportedly courting interest from Al Ahly of Egypt and South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns.
Zutah disclosed that club is open to letting the Black Stars striker leave for the right money.
“So what we have to do is to just a find a replacement, it’s not as if Sowah will be here forever, definitely there will be a time he has to move on, it could be soon or later, fair enough, but it is up to us to also make sure we get an able replacement,” he told Citi Sports.
“We are open to anything, if a deal comes, why not and both parties agree, he can move on.”
Jonathan Sowah scored 12 goals in 20 appearances in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season as they were crowned champions for the first time.
He also led the club’s charge for a first ever appearance in the CAF Champions League group stage.
