Medeama Sporting Club have announced the transfer of Fatawu Hamidu to the Egyptian side, Ghazl El-Mahalla SC.
The 25 year old defender leaves the T & A Park after a successful two-year stint at the club.
He notably helped the Mauve and Yellows secure their first-ever Ghana Premier League title in the 2022-23 season.
Hamidu is a full blown international having earned a call up into the senior national team, the Black Stars in September 2023.
He made his debut for the national team against Liberia in an international friendly game in September, where Ghana triumphed 3-1 over their opponent.
