Assistant coach of Aduana Football Club, Mawulorm Lawrence, has expressed satisfaction after his side secured a 1–1 draw against Medeama Sporting Club in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
The Dormaa-based club travelled to Tarkwa on Friday for their Week 22 fixture of the 2025/26 top-flight campaign. The match, staged at the TnA Sports Stadium, was interrupted by heavy rains in the second half and subsequently rescheduled to continue on Saturday.
Although both teams showed improved intensity when play resumed, neither side was able to find the winner, with the stalemate stemming from goals scored on Friday by Salim Adams and Seidu Saana before the downpour halted proceedings.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Lawrence noted that his side executed their game plan effectively and managed Medeama’s attacking threats to earn a valuable point on the road.
“We pressed in the right moments, managed Medeama’s wide threats, and stayed organized between the lines. There are details to improve, but the mentality away from home was clear,” Mawulorm Lawrence said.
The result keeps Aduana Football Club in second place on the league table, still trailing Medeama Sporting Club as the title race intensifies.
