Techiman city maintained their impressive form at home following a hard fought 1-0 win over Dreams FC in the Ghana premier league on Sunday.
Baba Mahama who’s popularly known as the President of football first half strike was enough to hand Dreams FC their first defeat of the season despite a good performance.
Both sides started the game on high, creating a couple of decent opportunities. However it was Techiman who made the most of theirs in the 29th minute.
The striker hit a beautiful strike past Mozart Adjetey to send Techiman park which was fully filled into ecstasy.
The citizens after scoring remained resolute and dealt with numerous attacks from Dreams FC. But on two occasions had the post to thank for denying Dreams the equaliser.
Following the result Techiman city has leapfrogged Dreams into fourth on the log while the latter sit fifth.
Techiman will play as guest of New Edubiase on Match Day 6. In contrast Dreams will seek a return to the winning column as they host WAFA at the Dawu park in their next assignment.
