Midfielder Majeed Ashimeru continued his fine start to the season with a goal for RSC Anderlecht as they thrashed Kortrijk 4-1 in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League on Sunday.

The 24-year-old doubled the lead for the Purple and White in the second half after Verschaeren had opened the scoring in the 27th minute.

Majeed now has two goals and an assist in five matches, having missed four due to an injury.

Vertonghen and Refaelov netted to put the tie beyond the reach of the visitors as they only managed to get a consolation through Selemani.

RSC Anderlecht have climbed to 8th in the Belgium Jupiller Pro League table.
