Lyon will host Troyes in Ligue 1 action on Friday night at the Groupama Stadium. Les Gones head into the game having won the last nine matches versus Troyes and could make it 10 wins from 10 this weekend.
Troyes have lost back-to-back matches to start the new season. The Blues have zero points heading into the third week of the season. Troyes desperately need points to prevent a relegation battle later this term.

Last season, Lyon outscored Troyes 4-1 across two matches. This is Troyes second straight season in Ligue 1 after being promoted in 2021.
Lyon claimed an opening day win against Ajaccio. Les Gones’ second match of the season, which was to be played against Lorient, was postponed due to a poor playing surface. Peter Bosz’s team has plenty of rest going into matchday No. 3.
Troyes lost on opening day to Montpellier 3-2 and followed it up with a defeat to Toulouse 3-0 the following weekend. The Blues will attempt to defeat Lyon at the Groupama Stadium, the site of Les Gones’ first and only win of the season.
Bosz will be without several players for the game with Troyes. His biggest loss is goalkeeper Anthony Lopes, who was sent off on matchday No. 1 against Ajaccio. Back-up Remi Riou will take the place of Lopes.
Forward Moussa Dembele has a muscle injury which will keep him out of the match most likely. The trio of midfielders Romain Faivre, Jeff Reine-Adelaide, and Maxence Caqueret are all suffering from injuries and are all doubts to play.
Bosz won’t likely have Dembele available, but Alexandre Lacazette is fit to play. Lacazette got a goal on opening day to help Lyon win versus Ajaccio. The former Arsenal striker played through the middle and completed the entire 90 minutes.
Troyes coach Bruno Irles has just one player on the injury list for the game. Defender Abdu Conte is a major doubt to make the side. Conte has a muscle injury.
Lyon have a great head-to-head record versus Troyes. Les Gones should post a win at full-time with the game finishing with over 2.5 goals. Eleven of the 19 Ligue 1 games played this season finished with over 2.5 goals. That includes Lyon’s matchday No. 1 win against Ajaccio.
Lacazette could get on the scoresheet for a second straight game for Lyon. The win will be the team’s 10th straight against Troyes.
