Ghana, Nigeria, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago will face off in the highly anticipated Unity Cup 2025 in London this May.
The tournament, branded as “The Best in the West – The Afro Classico Contest,” promises to deliver high-stakes matches, fierce regional rivalries, and a celebration of African and Caribbean football culture.
The competition is set to kick off on May 27th and end on May 31.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, Rotimi Pedro, CEO of AfroSport, expressed his excitement about reviving the event.
“The Unity Cup is back! It has been a long road to revive this important community event, and we are happy that fans of African and Caribbean football will get to see international football of the highest caliber at The Unity Cup 2025.”
AfroSport Co-Director Andy Howes emphasized the cultural and commercial significance of the tournament, saying: “This event is not only important in terms of its cultural significance but also reflects the growing commercial importance of African and Caribbean football, as well as the expanding black football fanbase in England.”
