Brighton & Hove Albion will go in search of a fourth win in five Premier League games when they face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Thanks to an impressive run, seventh-place Brighton find themselves 13 points clear of fifteenth-place Leicester, while the Seagulls also have a game in hand.

With the Foxes sitting just two points outside the relegation zone, the visitors are expected to dominate proceedings on Saturday. But will Roberto De Zerbi’s men live up to expectations?

Leicester head into Saturday’s clash on the back of a 2-0 defeat to rivals Nottingham Forest, with the Tricky Trees now above the Foxes in the table.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have now lost each of their last four Premier League games, conceding eight goals while scoring just once in reply.

When you look at the bigger picture, the Foxes have lost 12 of their 19 league outings this season. No team has suffered more top-flight defeats in 2022-23.

Having failed to score a single goal across their past three Premier League games at the King Power, Leicester look destined to struggle against high-flying Brighton.

Indeed, the Seagulls have won three of their last four league outings. After beating Southampton, they lost to Arsenal before sealing back-to-back victories over Everton and Liverpool.

Brighton crushed Jurgen Klopp’s side 3-0 last time out, with Solly March bagging two goals and one assist to cement his status as one of the division’s in-form players.

It is also worth noting that De Zerbi’s boys have won five of their previous seven Premier League games, netting over 2.5 goals in all five victories.

Given that both teams have scored in seven of Brighton’s last eight Premier League encounters, we should see goals at both ends of the pitch on Saturday.

Head-to-head: Brighton hammered Leicester 5-2 in the reverse fixture back in September, with Alexis Mac Allister bagging a brace on that occasion.

The Seagulls are enjoying a four-game unbeaten streak against the Foxes in all competitions, having claimed two wins and two draws since their last loss.

Team news: James Justin, Ryan Bertrand, James Maddison, Ricardo Pereira, Jonny Evans and Boubakary Soumare are all currently unavailable for Leicester.

As for Brighton, they will be without the injured Jakub Moder on Saturday, while Leandro Trossard is expected to miss out due to disciplinary reasons.

When you consider the contrasting form of these two sides, all the signs point towards an away win at the King Power Stadium.

Forebet predicts that both teams will score on Saturday. However, Brighton are expected to outscore Leicester – piling more pressure on Rodgers and his team.
