Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh has made a remarkable comeback, returning to training with SC Freiburg after a two-year injury layoff.

Kyereh, 28, had been sidelined since February 2023 due to a serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.

His recovery has been a long and challenging journey, but he’s finally back on the pitch, practicing with his teammates.

This is fantastic news for Freiburg and Ghana’s Black Stars, as Kyereh’s creativity, energy, and goal-scoring ability will be a huge boost to both teams.

He made 12 appearances for Freiburg in his first season, scoring two goals, and has 18 caps for Ghana.

Freiburg coach Julian Schuster is optimistic about Kyereh’s progress, citing “positive moments recently” and praising his resilience.
