A few minutes into the added time session, the Ghanaian striker equalized from close range with a beautiful header.
Kwabena Owusu’s goal was insufficient to propel his team to the Europa League round of 32, as they were relegated to the UEFA Europa Conference League after placing third.
The 25-year-old former Leganes attacker scored three goals for the Azerbaijan Premier League outfit in the 2022-23 UEFA Europa League group stages.
Qarabag FK will now turn its attention to their matchweek 13 league game against PFK in the Azerbaijan top flight.
