Ghana Football Association President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has been elected to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee, serving a four-year term from 2025 to 2029.
This is a significant milestone, recognizing his remarkable leadership in rejuvenating Ghanaian football since 2019.
Okraku’s efforts to enhance transparency, promote grassroots football and women’s football, and focus on youth development have been well noted within the African football community.
His presence on the CAF EXCO will give Ghana a stronger voice in decision-making processes, advancing the country’s interests and promoting football development across Africa.
As the sixth Ghanaian to serve on the CAF Executive Committee, Okraku joins a list of notable figures, including Ohene Djan, Kobina Hagan, and Kwesi Nyantakyi.
