Asante Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum praised attacker Albert Amoah for his strong performance in their 1-1 draw against Basake Holy Stars on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors led through Amoah’s goal in the 35th minute, only for Prince Tweneboah to equalize in the 82nd minute in the matchday eight fixture at Ayinase.
Ogum lauded the 22-year-old former Accra Great Olympics player for scoring in his third consecutive game and fourth of the season.
“I think Albert Amoah is doing well but then if you look at his energy and game intelligence, I think there’s a lot that he can offer this team so I want to congratulate him and then urge him on to continue doing what he is doing and improve upon it,” Ogum stated.
Kotoko currently sit second on the standings with 15 points and travel to face Legon Cities in their next outing.
