Kotoko attacker heading to Berekum Chelsea on permanent basis [Asempa FM SportsNite Leaks] —

Asante Kotoko are in the initial stages of discussions which would enable Berekum Chelsea to re-sign attacker Stephen Amankonah from the club on permanent basis, according to Asempa FM’s SportsNite Leaks.

Amankonah, 22, is on his second season at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium but he is reportedly unhappy at the Kumasi-based club and would want to move on.

According to Enoch Worlanyo on the SportsNite Leaks, Kotoko are willing to allow the player to rejoin his hometown club.

The details from Asempa FM further claim that Kotoko have not finished honouring the transfer fee to Berekum Chelsea in the October 2021 transfer.

Meanwhile, the Porcupine Warriors are willing to enter into negotiations to complete the deal in the coming days.

Amankonah has played 18 league games and scored 1 goal in 1 and a half seasons at the 24-time Ghanaian champions.
