English-born Ghanaian youngster Kobbie Mainoo has been named as Manchester United’s best player of the month of January.
The 18 year old bagged the feat following his outstanding performance in the last four weeks
Mainoo’s impact was more felt when he scored in Manchester United’s English FA Cup fixture against Newport County.
Manchester United won that game 4-2 away to Newport County to advance to the next stage of th competition.
He signed a new long-term contract at the club in February 2023 having only signed his first professional contract in May 2022.
Mainoo, despite playing for England’s youth teams, is still eligible to play for Ghana.
