Karela United sack twelve players for non-performance

Ghana Premier League side, Karela United have mutually parted ways with twelve players for non-performance.

Reports indicates that the players have not lived up to expectations in the ongoing first round of the league.

Players affected include Mathew Adansi, Stephen Akani , Atwe Nzema, Bashiru Abdul, Joshua Addai, Muntari Shafiq, Shuraj Ishak, Oshe Mamoud, Abdul Rahman Fuseini and Haruna Ganew, Richard Berko and Ishmeal Nketsiah.

They will not be participating in the second round of the Premier League with the Tamale-based side.

However there are other three (3) players who are under consideration by the technical team as whether their contracts too will be terminated.

Karela United are currently 15th on the league log in the 2023/2024 season with 15 points after 14 games.
