Ghana international Kamaradini Mamudu has expressed excitement after sealing a move to Sudanese powerhouse Al Hilal Omdurman, describing the transfer as a challenge he is fully prepared to embrace.
The 23-year-old right-back has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Blue Wave and joins the club with immediate effect.
“I’m very happy to be here. I’m ready to give everything for this club, play in front of these wonderful fans, and achieve big things together,” Mamudu said following his unveiling.
Mamudu arrives in Sudan after an impressive spell with Medeama SC, where he emerged as one of the most effective defenders in the Ghana Premier League.
Renowned for his attacking drive and tireless work rate, the full-back consistently ranked among the league’s top defenders for goal involvement.
He brought his Medeama chapter to a memorable close over the weekend, scoring twice in a 3–1 win over Karela United, pushing his league tally to five goals this season.
The brace marked a fitting farewell to the Tarkwa-based club, whom he joined in 2023 and represented with distinction both domestically and in continental competitions.
Mamudu also featured prominently in Medeama’s CAF Champions League campaign, and his steady performances earned him call-ups to the Ghana national team, further underlining his rising profile.
