Medeama SC beat CR Belouizdad 2-1 in the second game of the CAF Champions League group at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday.
The Algerian side took the lead in the 39th minutes via a spot kick which was converted by Abdelraouf Benguit.
In the final minutes of the first half, a push from Medeama SC resulted in a goal thanks to a strike from former WAFA SC hitman Daniel Lomotey.
After recess, both teams played well in the bid to get a second goal to win the match.
Medeama SC succeeded after Mamudu Kamaradin netted in the 94th minute to secure a 2-1 victory for the team.
The victory at home against their Algerian side will redeemed their image after suffering a 3-0 defeat in Egypt in the first group game last Saturday.
Medeama SC’s next game is against Tanzanian champions Young Africans SC at the Baba Yara Stadium next Friday.
