Ghanaian international Kamal Sowah has joined Belgian side Standard Liege on a season long loan.
He joined his new club from Club Brugge, with the possibility of a permanent deal at the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.
Sowah started his European journey in 2018 when he joined Leicester City, but he spent the majority of his time on loan at OH Leuven. Following an impressive two-year stint at Leuven, he subsequently signed with Brugge.
In the 2022-23 season, Sowah made 27 appearances for Brugge and scored four goals. He also contributed two goals in seven UEFA Champions League appearances.
