South African giants Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly interested in signing Mohammed Camara, Asante Kotoko’s standout goalkeeper.
The 25-year-old Guinean international has been instrumental in Kotoko’s success, including winning the 2024/25 FA Cup and starring in their victory over Chiefs in the 2025 Toyota Cup.
Despite having four goalkeepers, Chiefs are keen on securing Camara’s services, with preliminary talks potentially starting soon.
However, Camara’s contract runs until June 2026, and it’s uncertain if he’ll make the move.
Kotoko’s upcoming participation in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup may also impact Camara’s decision.
The transfer rumors come after Camara’s impressive performances against Chiefs, making him a desirable target for the South African side.
Camara’s future remains uncertain as he has a contract with Kotoko until 2026. Chiefs will have to negotiate with Kotoko to secure his services before then.
