On Monday night, Juventus hosts Sassuolo at the Allianz Stadium, as both teams look to kick off the new Serie A campaign with a victory.

The Bianconeri endured a bit of a rollercoaster of a campaign last season. However, eventually, the team from Turin finished fourth place in the table and claimed a Champions League spot under the returning Max Allegri. The Bianconeri ended last season with a three-game winless run in the Italian top-flight, including two defeats.

The January arrivals of the likes of Dusan Vlahovic and Denis Zakaria, coupled with the summer signings of Angel Di Maria, Bremer and Paul Pogba, have raised expectations among fans.
However, an underwhelming pre-season campaign has brought fans back down to earth.
One slight positive for Juventus fans of late has been their home form, as the Bianconeri has suffered just one defeat in their last 12 home matches in Serie A.
Sassuolo
The visitors finished 11th place last season, 11 points off the European spots after an inconsistent league campaign. The Neroverdi threw away any chance of a top-seven finish with a poor run of form towards the end of last season.
Not only did they win just one of their last six games in Serie A, but the visitors also suffered four defeats in the run to end their European hopes.
Sassuolo will have to cope with the loss of forward Gianluca Scamacca after the Italian international joined West Ham.
The visitors will be hoping that new forward Agustin Alvarez can make a big impression after joining from Penarol in his homeland of Uruguay.
