Manchester City defender Joško Gvardiol is tipping Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus to become one of the best players in the world.
The Croatian player reflected on his experience of facing Kudus during their initial encounter on September 16, 2023, describing Kudus as his toughest opponent.
According to Gvardiol, he is impressed by Kudus’ pace and skill, which made an immediate impact on the field.
“I realized that he was quite good. He looks sharp and was good on the ball. In the second game of the season, he even scored a bicycle kick. He was the one I struggled against,”.
“I think he is the one who deserves attention, and I believe this season he’s going to come out and show his quality,” Gvardiol said.
Kudus had a productive debut season in England, netting 14 goals and providing six assists across all competitions
