Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil has once again found the back of the net for Genk in their vital away win over Gent on Sunday.
The Blue and Whites defeated the Buffaloes in a five-goal thriller at the Ghelamco Arena to widen their gap at the top of the Belgian Jupiler Pro league.
The inform former Tema Youth star opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, coupled with two other goals from Yira Sor and T.E Arokodare.
Gent had their goals netted by South Korea’s Hyeon-seok Hong and Laurent Depoitre.
Paintsil is in a blistering form and has a 20 goal contribution so far, having scored 10 and assisted 10 in 20 outings so far in the Belgian topflight.
KRC Genk are still holding onto their lead with 62 points, seven points adrift second-place Union St Gilloise.
