Ghanaian defender Joseph Attamah Larweh rescued a crucial point for Kayserispor with a last-minute header in their 1-1 draw against Eyupspor in the Turkish Süper Lig.

Playing the full 90 minutes at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium in Istanbul, Attamah’s late goal secured an important away result for his struggling side.

After a goalless first half with few clear-cut chances, Emre Mor put Eyupspor ahead in the 56th minute.

However, in stoppage time, Attamah rose high to head home a corner, ensuring Kayserispor avoided defeat.

Despite the draw, Kayserispor remain in a relegation battle, sitting 16th in the league with 21 points from 22 games.

The 30-year-old defender’s goal was his first of the season in 18 appearances.
