Majeed Ashimeru has joined RAAL La Louvière on a six-month loan from Anderlecht, teaming up with fellow Ghanaian Jerry Afriyie.
The 28-year-old midfielder aims to regain match fitness and form ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Ashimeru, who has 12 caps for Ghana, struggled with injuries and limited playing time at Anderlecht, making just four appearances for the U23 squad this season.
RAAL La Louvière manager Frédéric Taquin praised Ashimeru’s signing, saying he’d be a “huge asset” for the team.
The club currently sits 13th in the Jupiler Pro League and hopes Ashimeru’s experience will help avoid relegation.
Anderlecht will cover Ashimeru’s full salary during the loan.
