Midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe emphasized the significance of Ghana qualifying for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, stating it would be painful if they didn’t make it.
Cudjoe expressed confidence in the Black Queens’ abilities, acknowledging the responsibility lies with them.
Ahead of the match against Namibia, she highlighted the team’s talent, determination, and the importance of proving themselves.
The player urged her teammates to deliver, asserting that failure to qualify would be a tough outcome to face.
“We believe in ourselves and we challenge each other every single day. We have a point to prove but we also believe that we have done a lot in the last few months. We’ve stepped up every single game, people have watched and they can see the progression in every single game.
“We have amazing talents. This game will come down to who wants it more. It’s in our own hands to be able to deliver and if we don’t deliver, we have to blame ourselves. It will be tough if we don’t qualify,” Jennifer Cudjoe said.
The Ghana vs. Namibia match is set for Friday, December 1, at 3:30 pm in the Accra Sports Stadium.
