Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has praised Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp’s goal against Fulham on Saturday, describing it as a “fantastic finish.”
Schlupp scored in the 86th minute to equalize Rodrigo Muniz’s early second-half goal, resulting in a 1-1 draw between Crystal Palace and Fulham at Craven Cottage in a London derby.
The draw extends Palace’s unbeaten run to four games, following victories over Liverpool, West Ham, and Newcastle United.
“I think we got our reward with an amazing goal from Jeffrey Schlupp – again, a very good impact from all our substitutes today, getting new energy on the pitch. We know that Jeffrey has a fantastic finish, we see it when we do it in training,” Glasner said.
Schlupp has contributed two goals and two assists in 29 league games this season.
Crystal Palace will take on Manchester United next on Monday, May 6.
