Ex-Ghana goalkeeper James Nanor has backed calls for the return of veteran Richard Kingson for the 2014 World Cup play-offs against Egypt.
Kingson has returned to active football after ending two years of searching for a club.
His return to action has sparked a massive campaign for his return to the team due to his rich experience.
Former Black Stars shot-stopper Abubakar Damba has urged coach Kwesi Appiah to send an SOS call to the player ahead of the must-win game against the North African country.
Nanor has become the latest ex-goalie to clamour for his immediate return to team, insisting he has the quality to send the West African country  to the World Cup in Brazil.
“I won’t think twice to recall him (Richard Kingson) if I was Kwesi Appiah. He is back playing regularly now and so there is no point in waiting,†Nanor told Happy FM
“Dauda is a good goalkeeper but I don’t think he has the qualities to do send us there.
“Of course he (Fatau Dauda) has done his bit but I think we need Kingson at this critical stage.
“His experience is invaluable and will prove crucial in our quest to qualify to Brazil.â€
Dauda’s recent performance against Zambia has drawn criticism, prompting calls for the return of the 35-year-old ahead of the Egypt showdown.
