Trainer of Black Stars Otto Addo has admitted that it will take time and “a lot of work” to get the team back to the top.

The senior national team could not secure a win in two international friendlies un the tutelage of Addo.

Ghana drew 2-2 with Uganda after suffering a 2-1 to Nigeria in Marrakech, Morocco .

“Finishing must be better under pressure. It’s a lot of work, it’s a lot of work but I have to say this is what I expected because…we were not good even before I came so it’s a process,” Addo said.

Ghana will come against Mali in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June.
