Former Ghana international Laryea Kingston has called on the Black Stars to centre their national team setup around forward Antoine Semenyo.
The 26-year-old has been in exceptional form for AFC Bournemouth this season, scoring 10 goals in 19 appearances.
Kingston praised Semenyo’s consistency, technical ability, and work rate, drawing comparisons with his former teammate Matthew Amoah.
“If I had Semenyo in my team, he would be a weapon for me because of the abilities he has—he is fast, strong, and technically he is good, and his finishing trust me,” he told 3Sports.
He highlighted Semenyo as a player who can make a decisive impact even with limited opportunities on the pitch.
Semenyo has made 101 appearances for Bournemouth, scoring 29 goals and providing 10 assists in the Premier League.
His performances have now earned him a high-profile move to Manchester City in a £65 million transfer.
