This year’s MTN FA Cup winner will receive a cash prize of Ghc 25000, a 25% increase in the prize money from last year.
This year’s final will also see for the first time, a runner’s up cash prize of Ghc 10ooo.
Players of both teams will also be handing out undisclosed gifts to their fans at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The grand finale which will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday will be contested by Premiership clubs; New Edubiase and AshantiGold.
The Berkwai-based club are presented with a unique opportunity to cap their most fruitful season in the Ghanaian top flight with a trophy after missing out on a top four finish by the skin of the teeth.
They will however be without the league’s topscorer Emmanuel Baffour and influential midfielder Mumuni Abubakar who have both been sold to South African club Sundowns.
