New King Faisal head coach, Ernest Thompson has disclosed that he will be starting work this week.
The former Ashanti Gold SC gaffer earlier this month was appointed as the new gaffer for the Kumasi-based club.
On Monday, he was at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium when King Faisal lost 3-2 to Aduana Stars.
Speaking to Kessben FM in an interview, Coach Ernest Thompson says he was not impressed with the performance of the team.
According to him, he will have a lot of work to do to turn things around for King Faisal.
“Just this week I may start training with the team. I watched the game. I wasn’t impressed with the performance (vs Aduana). There is a lot of work to be done with this team,” Coach Ernest Thompson said.
Next weekend, King Faisal will travel to Accra to take on King Faisal on matchday 3 of the Ghana Premier League.
