I can never promise the Ghana Premier League title – Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara

Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has refused to make promises regarding winning the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League despite their impressive form.

The Phobians are now a force to reckon in the ongoing campaign after shaking off their sloppy start to the league season.

Ouattara, who joined the Phobians before the start of the second round has made an instant impact at the club, winning three and drawing two after five games so far.

The Ghanaian giants has amassed 11 points from a possible 15 after five games in the second half of the domestic top-flight.

Despite the club’s stellar performance, the Ivorian trainer says he can never promise the Ghana Premier League title.

“We are trying to play well and everything can happen along the line but I can never promise the cup. we trying step by step and match by match to go forward”

Hearts of Oak have now surpassed rivals Asante Kotoko on Ghana Premier League table. They are now 7th on the standings but tied on points with Kotoko.
