Forward Maxwell Abbey Quaye has bid farewell to Great Olympics following his transfer deadline day move to Hearts of Oak.

Quaye has signed a two-year contract with the Phobians after leaving city rivals Great Olympics following the expiration of his contract.

“I came I saw and I conquered. We all trying to make this world a better place to live. Leaving my dear club Great Olympics is like leaving the earth to a different planet where things are going to be new around but talent never fades long live DADE,” Quaye wrote on Twitter.

Abbey Quaye was a stalwart of the Great Olympics team the past two seasons, turning in impressive performances that earned him a call-up to the Black Stars and a spot on the team for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year in Cameroon.

He scored over 20 goals in 60 appearances for Great Olympics.
