Callum Hudson-Odoi finds himself at a crossroads in his international career, with the doors to both the Ghana and England national teams wide open.

The former Chelsea player, now plying his trade at Nottingham Forest, has expressed his intention to take his time and carefully consider which nation he will represent on the international stage moving forward.

In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Hudson-Odoi revealed, “That decision hasn’t been made yet. I’m still thinking it over. Ghana is a very good option but let’s wait and see.”

“Hopefully, once I start playing games here, maybe Gareth [Southgate] or Ghana will come. It’s a nice position to be in and hopefully, sooner or later we will know.”

The 22 year-old player, born in London to Ghanaian parents, has already gained experience representing England at various youth levels and boasts three senior caps.

However, he has not closed the door on the possibility of representing Ghana, the homeland of his heritage.
