Herbert Mensah hopes Prosper Narteh Ogum’s departure was amicable

Herbert Mensah has reacted to the resignation of Asante Kotoko coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum. He hopes the departure of Ogum was amicable.

According to reports, Narteh Ogum informed the club management of his decision to step down during their end-of-year technical meeting with management.

The club’s board in a statement today has said that they haven’t received any resignation letter from the coach. Asante Kotoko communication member, Patrick Osei Agyemang has also stated that the management has accepted the resignation of the coach.

Herbert Mensah believes Asante Kotoko is bigger than anyone, but he acknowledges that Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum deserves credit for winning the league with the support of CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah and the players.

“Prosper has resigned as Head Coach from Kotoko after only one season. Hopefully, his departure was amicable especially after winning the league!” as per ghanasportspage.com

“He must be commended for helping Kotoko win the league with the support of Nana Yaw and the playing body,”

“Asante Kotoko is bigger than anyone person though and as they say, there were people before and there will be people who come after he has gone,” he ended.
