Kalmar will make the trip to the Olympia this weekend to face off with a Helsingborg side aiming to get off the foot of the table and rocket out of the drop zone with Kalmar eyeing up a spot in the top three early on.
Kalmar are sitting down in sixth right now in the league table, and off the back of four wins in their past five games, they remain one of the most in-form sides in the Allsvenskan.

They did beat Varnamo 1-0 on Monday, and off the back of defeating Steyr 3-0 in the league just a week prior, they have now scored four times in their past two games and not conceded a single goal.
They did manage to get a draw with Mjallby just prior to the international break as well, along with a narrow 1-0 win over Djurgarden. This means the club haven’t tasted defeat since losing to Hacken 3-1. Better yet, they also won their two games prior to this, which does mean Kalmar have only lost once inside the past two months of action.
It also means Henrik Rydström’s men have managed to turn around their torrid start to the 2022 Allsvenskan season, as they managed to lose three of their first seven games in the league.
Now, they sit with six victories and four losses, with a commendable 14 goals scored and only nine let in from 11 games. At the same time, Kalmar also have a game in hand on some teams above them.
Helsingborg, however, are in completely contrasting form. They were defeated by the high-flying Malmo last time out 2-1, which did come after registering a rare victory in the season, as they beat J-Sodra 2-0 in a friendly.
On the other hand, it does also mean the club have now gone over two months without a win in the Allsvenskan. They beat Elfsborg in their only game of the season to date, as Taha Abdi Ali scored the game’s only goal in a 1-0 win.
Mattias Lindström’s men are now sitting bottom of the table in Sweden, as they have now lost an incredible nine games from only 12 games, played a game extra, while also have conceded a poor record of 20 goals in the league.
Forebet predicts a win for Kalmar here, as they are in such better form to this point. Forebet also predicts the fixture to see over 2.5 goals in the game.
