Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak are yet to complete the signing of crafted Congolese midfielder Linda Don Mtange.
Multiple media reports from last week claimed the Phobians had signed the 20-year-old to a contract.
However speaking on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show on Monday evening, Hearts of Oak spokesperson Kwame Opare Addo clarified the situation of the player.
“He joined us a couple of days ago based on a recommendation from Congo. So far he has been impressive. He has impressed the technical team and everyone. We will do everything permissible under the GFA player registration requirements to register him for the season,” he told Enoch Worlanyo.
He joins Eric Ofori Antwi, Zakaria Yakubu, William Bumekpor, Junior Kaaba, Yassan Ouatching, Marvin Owusu, Prince Nana Kwasi Darmang and Konadu Yiadom as the club’s new signings ahead of the new season.
